After working for years in branding and retail merchandising I returned to school to pursue my love of interior design. To my delight, there are many similarities between the professions. Color, pattern, layout and balance are of course all key characteristics of design, regardless of the specific profession. More importantly, being able to pull seemingly disparate elements together to form a cohesive vision is an absolute necessity in both careers. Transferring my energy to interiors has been a natural fit for my problem solving abilities and natural eye for style.
It didn't take long to recognize a glaring void in the interiors market. With the arrival of our daughter, the lack of stylish furnishings for children became apparent. Where were the luxurious nursery furnishings? Why must everything be covered in ducks or an abundance of satin ruffles? Surely there was a chic middle ground.
Armed with a desire to improve the landscape for style-minded parents like myself I turned my attention to this niche. Today I design dream-worthy spaces for little ones, creating rooms you and your family will be proud to call your own.
