A few more stylish book reviews are coming, dear friends. The Dior Glamour by Mark Shaw is one of them. Reading through this immense book has been a breathtaking tour of the history of the fashion house. I'm nearly done absorbing the contents. It will likely be this weekend when I get a moment to capture my thoughts and feelings and turn them into intelligible words. Suffice it to say, I can't wait to share the glorious beauty of this thoughful book with all of you. I will also be giving a short recap of theDior Couture shot by photographer Patrick Demarchelier. To answer your silent question, no, one book on Dior isn't enough. In fact, I am so smitten that I now need to acquire all remaining books on the house missing from my personal collection.
The other two volumes below are on my wish list. Here's to hoping Mr. Venti pays special attention to the books on my Christmas list this year ( *hint, hint* ) as you can never, ever go wrong offering a girl Dior - even in the form of a hardcover book. In fact, it might earn him high points for noticing your needs. ;)
